Requisiti

• Un server VPS con Debian 12 installato
• Accesso root o sudo al server
• Un dominio (opzionale)

Passo 1: Aggiorna il sistema

Prima di tutto, aggiorna il tuo sistema Debian:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

Passo 2: Installare Node.js e npm

Ghost richiede Node.js. Puoi installarlo usando i seguenti comandi:

curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_16.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt install -y nodejs

Passo 3: Installare Ghost CLI

Successivamente, installa Ghost CLI globalmente:

sudo npm install -g ghost-cli

Passo 4: Configurare Ghost

Crea una directory per il tuo blog Ghost:

mkdir -p /var/www/ghost
cd /var/www/ghost
ghost install

Segui le istruzioni sullo schermo per completare l’installazione.

Passo 5: Installare e configurare Nginx

Installa Nginx usando:

sudo apt install nginx

Creare un file di configurazione per il tuo sito Ghost:

sudo nano /etc/nginx/sites-available/ghost

Inserisci la seguente configurazione:

server {
    listen 80;
    server_name tuo_dominio.com;

    location / {
        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:2368;
        proxy_http_version 1.1;
        proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
        proxy_set_header Connection 'upgrade';
        proxy_set_header Host $host;
        proxy_cache_bypass $http_upgrade;
    }
}

Attiva la configurazione di Nginx:

sudo ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/ghost /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/
sudo nginx -t
sudo systemctl restart nginx

Passo 6: Avvia Ghost

Avvia Ghost entro la directory installata:

cd /var/www/ghost
ghost start

Passo 7: Configurazione finale

Visita il tuo dominio nel browser per completare l’impostazione di Ghost.
